This manual is designed to give all necessary instructions concerning installation, use and maintenance of the

unit. In order to operate the unit correctly and safely, please read this instruction manual carefully before

installation and use.

3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

GENERAL

1. The appliance is only intended for the purpose described in the user manual. Do not use the appliance or

any part of it out of the intended use to avoid any kind of risk.

2. The use of attachments which are not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause a

risk of injury to persons.

3. When the appliance is not in use and before cleaning, unplug it from the outlet first.

4. The appliance is intended for household use only.

5. To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the unit, cord or plug in water or any other

liquid.

6. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling,

disassembling or cleaning.

7. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

8. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of

experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the

appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.

9. Children should not play with the appliance.

10. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly

qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

11. Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.

Take care of the potential injury from misuse.

12. Do not operate the device close to the wash basin, do not operate it with humid hands and do not

place it on wet ground.

13. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply line by holding the plug, not by pulling the power

cable.

14. Keep the appliance and the connection cord away from heat, direct sunlight, humidity, sharp edges

and similar.

15. Take special care while operating the knives, as they are very sharp.
